During the Louis Lesaffre Cup baking competition, which occurred in Big C store, the best bakers in Vietnam were gathered to compete in order to select the best baker of the country. During this huge event, Big C store bakers had the opportunity to see the high quality results of the breads and Viennese pastries baked by the best bakers in Vietnam. Big C store bakers get the willingness to create these high quality products to serve local customers.
After this event, bakers took a trip to France in order to learn the process of French traditional bread making thanks to the support of Big C store. With this new knowledge, bakers worked on new recipes in order to create the unique B bread.
B bread is following the strictly principles of bakery department of Big C stores. All the products of B bread corner are baked according the French tradition of baking that gives the specificity of B bread. Dough is fermented naturally a day earlier then rest for 12 hours and the process of baking is meticulously handmade.
Each bread has its own shape following the French characteristics. All the products are very simple but baked according a specific process that creates unique flavour, shapes and colors. Crispy crust, light sweetness, delicious tastes are all elements that make every customer immediately enjoying it!

B Sushi

In 2010, Big C gave customers a pleasant surprise by opening the Japanese food stall – sushi:
* The stall is arranged and decorated vividly with more than 50 kinds of sushi. The sushi dishes are made with nutritious fresh food such as salmon, tuna, salmon egg, shrimp… Pieces of sushi are also packed in small boxes, sold at reasonable prices, and are so convenient for being take-out.
* The stall has an open design that allows the customers to see how the staff are making sushi, and to feel the love for these work-of-art food.
